Cpt. John H. Iarrobino

Capt. John H. Iarrobino Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Captain John H. Iarrobino  the commanding officer of the U.S.S. Oriskany from March 1966 to March 1967. It is sponsored by members of the USS Oriskany Reunion Association.
 
To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant must be a resident of the Oriskany Central School District, or a descendant of a USS Oriskany crew member.  The recipient of the scholarship can receive up to $500 toward the cost of their college education.  There will be two scholarships awarded, one for Oriskany students and one for descendants.

Donald F. Sheehan Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of CW04 Donald F. Sheehan USN (Ret.) who was a naval photographer and served aboard the USS Oriskany CV-34. This scholarship is sponsored by the Sheehan family of California. ​

To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must be a resident of the Oriskany Central School District. The recipient of the scholarship can receive up to $500 toward the cost of college education.
