Oriskany Battlefield Reconstructed


Historian Joseph Robertacctio presents Oriskany Battlefield Reconstructed on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Oriskany Museum (420 Utica Street, Oriskany, NY). 

In this lecture, he reconstructs the battlefield and the battle in detail using primary sources and aerial archeology with surprising results and details of the Battle revealed. 

This program is free and open to the public.

ABOUT US

The Oriskany Museum was founded as the Battle of Oriskany Historical Society in 1967. Today, the collection is featured in its own building in the heart of Oriskany, NY. ​

Thursdays: By Appointment

Sundays: Noon to 3:00 pm

Museum Closed for Easter (4/5/26) & Mother's Day (5/10/26), and May 19-24.

The museum will be open on Memorial Day (5/25/26) from 11 am to noon following the 10 am service in Trinkaus Park.
